Founded in 1984 by Pam Keene, Pamela A. Keene Public Relations Inc. has represented clients across North America, handling marketing, public relations and special events in Atlanta, the Southeast and nationally. The firm specializes in work for business, leisure and recreation, tourism, health and fitness, sports, entertainment and professional services.

The firm’s base is in entertainment, tourism and recreation public relations with additional focus on healthcare, real estate and professional services. With work for Home Box Office, Six Flags Over Georgia, White Water Park and WSB-TV/Channel 2, the company has established its reputation throughout the Southeast. The firm has also worked with several Convention and Visitors Bureaus, the Marina Operators of Lake Lanier and a variety of financial and benefits companies.

Pamela A. Keene Public Relations also has directed public relations campaigns for several theater projects, including George Peppard in “Papa,” the Atlanta productions of “American Juke Box,” “Greater Tuna,” "Red, White and Tuna" and “A Tuna Christmas.”

Project work for corporate clients such as Intertape Polymer Group, Coca-Cola, Saturn, EXXON, Brunswick Recreation Centers, Southern Bell and AT&T demonstrate the quality work produced by the agency.

Keene Public Relations was tapped to handle the Atlanta premiere of “Steel Magnolias,” which raised more than $100,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. In 1991, the company handled public relations for the American Cancer Society’s Arvida House Project, which raised more than $45,000 for cancer research. In 2001, the firm worked with the Hall County Boys and Girls Clubs Rubber Duck Derby, which raised nearly $50,000.

Pam has also worked for numerous government and public sector organizations, including the City of Smyrna, the Georgia Governor’s Office of Consumer Affairs, the US Small Business Administration and the US Department of Justice’s Metro Atlanta Project PACT.
